Jasmin Mabry, MA

Professional Counselor Associate

Pronouns: She/Her

About Me

My name is Jasmin, and I am a pre-licensed associate therapist. My passion for mental health began during my work as a researcher studying balance disorders, but I ultimately decided to transition into clinical practice so I could connect directly with people rather than focusing primarily on data.

My previous clinical experience includes working as an individual and group therapist for all ages and demographics in an intensive outpatient program focused on OCD and anxiety disorders.  Alongside my clinical practice, I enjoy teaching others about psychology and I serve as a part-time instructor.

Therapeutic Approach

While my therapeutic practice is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, ERP, and mindfulness techniques. I focus on evidence based practices, but I also think it is important to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and complexities. My overarching goal is to foster an empathetic, judgment-free environment that equips clients with the tools to navigate challenges independently and effectively become their own therapists.

Credentials & Experience

I have a master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University and have completed additional specialized training in CPT, ERP, and ACT.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, I enjoy backpacking, reading, traveling, weightlifting, and spending quality time with family and friends.
