Eli Martinez, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Pronouns: She/Her
About Me
My name is Eli (pronounced EH-lee) Martinez, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in treating OCD and anxiety‐related disorders, including panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety, phobias, etc. I entered the mental health field after growing up Mexican American in a community where mental health was rarely talked about. That experience shaped my belief that healing begins when people have permission to speak openly about their inner world.
Therapeutic Approach
I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy foundation and frequently use Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I strive to create a supportive, culturally attuned space where clients can face fears, build new skills, and reconnect with what matters most to them.
Credentials & Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. My professional background includes residential treatment, IOP settings, community mental health, and administrative work supporting clinical operations.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, I try to spend as much time as I can outdoors, whether it is hiking, playing tennis, or roller-skating. When I’m home, I’m often lost in a high‐fantasy book or whatever fiction has caught my attention that week. I treasure time with friends and family, and I end most days curled up with my Siamese cat, Mudkip, who is never far from my side
I am supervised by Judith Faustima, LMFT
