Renee Goodenow

My name is Renee and I am extremely grateful to be working with the team at Portland Mental Health and Wellness as a Front Desk Attendant. I have a degree in Art, and I have volunteered with the Peace Corps in Ghana and as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Arizona and Maryland. Helping support opportunities for others to engage in life to their fullest is where I have found a sense of purpose and connection. I fully believe in mental health help and support being vital for every individual and the importance of each individual connecting to the resources they need to thrive and be part of our communities.

When I’m not in the office I like to walk around the different neighborhoods in Portland looking at the amazing array of plants, flowers and trees and listening to all of the different bird songs. I also love attending poetry readings, performances, and other art events.
