Eitan Kramer

Patient Care Coordinator

Pronouns: He/They

About Me

My name is Eitan (pronounced ay-ton), and I’m excited to be joining the Portland Mental Health and Wellness team as a Patient Coordinator.

I hold degrees in cultural anthropology and German from SUNY New Paltz (2019) and have spent the years since building a career in human services, public health, and mental health support. I’ve worked across nonprofit and AmeriCorps settings, and I’m currently pursuing my MSW with a long-term goal of licensure as a clinical social worker and therapist. My professional interests center on cross-cultural and intercultural therapy, crisis and disaster response, and community mental health.

I’m driven by a belief that everyone — especially people from marginalized communities — deserves support in finding agency, pursuing what matters to them, and building a life with room for joy. I’m eager to bring that commitment to this team, and equally eager to learn from the community here.

Outside the Office

I moved to Oregon earlier this year after nearly a decade in Colorado, and I’m still happily getting my bearings in the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work, I’m a devoted cook and enthusiastic eater, with a particular love for international cuisines and learning and sharing cultural foods. I also enjoy hiking, dancing, music, reading, creative writing, and studying tarot.
