About Me

I’m Morgan Klein, a Qualified Mental Health Professional with a year of experience in treating adults with mental health disorders. I am currently earning my Psy.D. in clinical psychology at Pacific University. My passion for mental health began in the 7th grade, as I became interested in books about individuals with mental health concerns. I would like to specialize in working with individuals with trauma, neurodivergence, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe in treating more than just an individual’s symptoms; their relationships, cultural factors, and identity are equally important to me.

Therapeutic Approach

In my training, my therapeutic approach has been largely person-centered, and has included a variety of techniques stemming from cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychodynamic theories. I aim to create a warm and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and develop effective coping strategies. I’m committed to adapting the therapeutic process to accommodate any client’s unique needs, identity factors, and potential barriers.

Credentials & Experience

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, with a minor in child, adult, and family services. In my doctoral program at Pacific University, I’ve elected to take additional classes on LGBTQIA+ psychology, group psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, chronic pain, and sociocultural foundations of the Latine population. My professional experience includes working with college students, disabled individuals, and youth with substance use disorders.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games, spending time in nature, and doing puzzles. I love spending time with my chosen family, and have a special interest in bird watching.
