Our approach to IOP is centered on care that feels supportive and flexible. Rather than following a single, rigid curriculum, our clinicians draw from multiple therapeutic approaches and adapt treatment based on the needs of the group and the individuals within it.
Because PMHW is based in Oregon and offers a full continuum of care, many adults are able to continue working with our providers after completing IOP—without having to transition to an entirely new care team.
What this means for participants:
- Care that is tailored, not scripted
- A consistent clinical team, so relationships and trust can develop over time
- Group work that responds to what participants are actually experiencing
- Support that fits into a broader continuum of care, from IOP to outpatient services
Many people have shared that they felt disconnected in large, highly standardized programs, especially when facilitators changed frequently. At PMHW, we prioritize continuity, familiarity, and relationships, recognizing that trust and stability matter, especially during times of emotional distress.
Our goal is to create a program where people feel seen, supported, and grounded, not rushed through a one-size-fits-all process.
