About Me

Hi, I’m Khefri, a Clinical Social Work Associate dedicated to supporting individuals in healing, recovery, and building lives that align with their values, needs, and authentic selves. I work with adults and relationships of many forms—including couples, polyamorous and non-monogamous constellations, and family or chosen-family systems—navigating experiences such as complex trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, burnout, grief, codependency, relationship challenges, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration.

I believe that healing—being a gentle steward to our trauma—creates ripple effects that radiate beyond the self. My orientation to practice centers relationships as sites of transformation and healing, not only for individuals but for the systems we are nested within. The connections we have to each other are a small part of creating a more just, caring, community-oriented, and sustainable world.

Therapeutic Approach

I am committed to meeting you with a centered, grounded invitation to grow. I hope that the people I work with gain a sense of safety to explore what has shaped them, build a greater capacity for nourishment and joy, cultivate pattern awareness, and feel empowered to interrupt patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we work toward building tools to regulate the nervous system, advocate for needs and desires, and move toward a life that reflects the most authentic self.

My approach is client-centered and empowerment-based, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, psychodynamic therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Credentials & Experience

I earned a Master of Social Work from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies with a minor in Writing from The Evergreen State College. My clinical experience includes intensive outpatient and outpatient therapy settings.

Outside the Office

I fill my cup through biking, singing, community connection, floral glimmers, seasonal foods, and getting lost in books. I also share my home with my delightfully bossy retired farm cat, Kitty Mau Mau, who continually models the art of asking for what she needs.

I am supervised by Katia Duncan, LCSW (Lic. #L12413)
