About Me

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice student in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program at Hawaii Pacific University. Before pursuing advanced practice, I worked as a registered nurse in both critical care and psychiatric emergency settings, experiences that reinforced my passion for caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. My nursing career has taught me that every person’s story matters.

Whether someone is navigating a mental health challenge, a major life transition, or simply looking for support, I believe the best care starts by listening without judgment. I believe that every individual deserves to feel heard, respected, and involved in their treatment. My goal is to build trusting relationships by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two silly dogs, traveling, hiking, skiing, and watching reruns of my favorite shows when I get the chance to unwind.
