The QT-BIPOC TRF Program was created to support master’s level associates who identify as queer, trans, non-binary, gender expansive, and/or Black, Indigenous, and people of color (QT-BIPOC) who are working toward licensure in counseling and social work. Through culturally specific supervision, training, and community building, the program strengthens both the presence and impact of QT-BIPOC therapists in Oregon.
QT-BIPOC TRF Program Mission
Therapists in this program reflect a wide range of lived experiences and identities, and many offer services in multiple languages. They provide care for individuals, children and adolescents, couples, and families—always with a focus on culturally attuned, affirming mental health support.
By fostering a strong, supportive network of QT-BIPOC peers, mentors, and leaders, the program helps ensure that clients from BIPOC communities can access therapists who understand and share aspects of their cultural, racial, gender, and lived experiences. Our goal is to expand access to meaningful, culturally rooted healing while increasing representation across the mental health field.
You can select the QT-BIPOC Therapists Rising Program on our request form and you’ll be matched with a QT-BIPOC provider whenever possible.
