Tay Ciambra, MA
Marriage & Family Therapy Associate
Pronouns: They/Them
Hi there! I’m a Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapist Associate. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy and a certificate in Ecotherapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School. As I work towards licensure, I am supervised by Rainer Rivenburgh, MAAT, ATR-BC, ATCS, LAT, LPC, SEP. I’m also part of the Affirm Program, which means I am a non-binary clinician committed to providing affirming care to the two-spirit, trans, and non-binary communities through a trauma-informed lens.
I work primarily from an Existential-Humanistic orientation. This means that we’ll look at how your relationships and social context influence who you are, as well as how the universal challenges of being human (death, isolation, meaninglessness, and freedom) impact your ability to live authentically. My sessions can feel more like talking around a campfire rather than catching up over lunch. We’ll talk at a slower pace and we’ll use silence as an opportunity to get in touch with what we’re thinking and feeling (emotionally and somatically).
We may be a good fit if you are:
- An individual navigating life transitions and seeking to increase meaning, connection, and purpose in your life.
-
A couple or relationship constellation who are low-conflict and want to communicate more openly and honestly.
-
A family seeking to redefine roles and foster more interdependent relationships.
