Rajvi Shah, MA

Qualified Mental Health Professional

Pronouns: She/Her

I am Rajvi, a Qualified Mental Health Professional with a unique cross-cultural perspective on mental health. I earned my master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University and hold a prior master’s degree in Applied Psychology from PDEU in Gandhinagar, India. Before transitioning to clinical work, I spent time as an adjunct professor, teaching psychology to undergraduate students in India.

My passion for mental health was ignited when I witnessed too many people suffering in silence—including myself—held back by societal stigma from seeking the support they deserved. That realization inspired me to enter this field, where I have had the privilege of working with individuals navigating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and complex anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, phobias, and social anxiety, during my internship at Collective Care Clinic.

My approach to therapy is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrated with techniques from Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I believe deeply that clients are the authors of their own stories—and my role is simply to help them remember that they have always held the pen. I focus on meeting clients where they are and fostering a collaborative therapeutic environment.

As I progress toward full licensure, I am under the supervision and clinical direction of Judith Faustima, LMFT.

Outside the Office

When I am not working, you can likely find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, exploring the outdoors, or planning my next trip. I’m passionate about staying connected with my loved ones, whether that means spending quality time together in person or bridging the miles through video calls.
