Tiara Oringe

Professional Counselor Associate

Pronouns: She/Her

I’m Tiara Oringe (Or-ren-ja), a professional counselor associate dedicated to supporting
individuals through healing, empowerment, and self-discovery. As I progress toward full
licensure, I am under the supervision and clinical direction of Judith Faustima, LMFT. I earned
my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2019 and
completed my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the
University of Memphis in 2024. Becoming a therapist didn’t feel like a choice—it chose me.
Long before I officially entered the field, I realized I had already been doing this work naturally in
my relationships, providing care, empathy, and support to myself and to those around me.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and collaboration. I integrate
person-centered, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches while honoring each
client’s lived experience. I work intentionally with LGBTQ+, nonbinary, and other marginalized
communities who often feel unseen in traditional therapeutic spaces. As a BIPOC therapist, I
am committed to creating a safe, affirming space where you can show up as your full, authentic
self.
My approach is warm, grounding, and sometimes infused with a touch of humor—therapy
shouldn’t feel like a punishment. I strive to create a space where you can heal, unlearn, and
grow at your own pace. I’m not here to act as the expert in the room, but to walk alongside you
as we explore your challenges, strengths, and goals. I hold myself to the same standard I ask of
my clients; I don’t encourage any work that I’m not willing to do myself.

Credentials & Experience

As an Arkansas native, I have clinical experience in both intensive inpatient settings at Le
Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, and outpatient community mental health
environments across Oregon, working with individuals navigating trauma, grief, anxiety,
depression, ADHD, and life transitions. My experience across the Mid-South region—including
Mississippi—and the Pacific Northwest has reinforced that, no matter where we come from,
people share common needs for understanding, connection, and support. These experiences
have shaped my ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds while maintaining a safe,
inclusive, and affirming space.

Outside the Office

Outside of therapy, I enjoy exploring art and fashion, curating diverse music playlists, following
sports, and immersing myself in nature. These grounding practices shape both my life and
therapeutic presence. I weave mindfulness into my daily routine and bring that same
intentionality into sessions, encouraging balance, authenticity, and holistic alignment.
