For English-Speaking Visitors & Referral Sources
Florecer is a bilingual outpatient mental health program serving Latine communities in the Portland area (in person) and across Oregon via telehealth. We offer therapy in Spanish and English, and we welcome referrals from schools, medical providers, community organizations, and families, including self-referrals.
Who we serve: We work with Latine children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, acculturation stress, and the mental health impacts of racism, immigration stress, and discrimination. If you’ve been to therapy before and felt like your clinician didn’t really understand your background or your community ā we built this program with you in mind.
What makes us different: Our team brings both clinical training and deep cultural rootedness to their work. Our diverse Latine culture is central to how we understand and support healing. We also recognize that racism, historical trauma, and systemic injustice are real forces that affect mental health, and we name that openly in our work rather than working around it.

We accept most major insurance plans. We offer a sliding scale and limited pro bono services. Whether you’re reaching out for yourself, a family member, or a patient or student you work with, we’re happy to talk through whether Florecer is the right fit.
Please note: We are not a crisis center. For urgent situations, call 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available in English and Spanish), call the Multnomah County Crisis Line at 503-988-4888, the Latine Mental Health Line at 503-988-4853 or go to your nearest emergency room.
