I have been a nurse for ten years, and graduated with my clinical doctorate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2022. I am excited to meet clients where they are/ as they are, and work alongside them in their personal journey toward improved mental health. I believe that a holistic approach founded in evidence-based practice results in optimal outcomes for clients. My doctoral project centered on culturally responsive mental health care, which I strive to make a cornerstone of my practice. I am passionate about approaching clients from a position of cultural humility and constantly striving towards providing culturally responsive care, as I think it is integral to providing patient-centered care.
