We are very excited to be able to once again offer in person services, in addition to telehealth services beginning Monday, July 5th.
Masks
Though the statewide mask mandate was lifted on 6/30/2021, healthcare settings are an exception. According to the Oregon Health Authority, all patients and visitors when visiting a health care office are required to: Wear a face mask, face covering, or face shield unless the individual is under five (5) years of age, except as follows: Face masks, face shields or face coverings are not required while eating or drinking, but strict physical distancing (6 feet or more) should be maintained while face masks, face shields, or face covering are not worn.
Even with confirmed vaccination, until further notice, you must wear a mask when in one of our three office locations. As soon as this is changed, we will be sure to let you know.
Attestation
We are asking new patients to attest to having received both doses of the COVID vaccine (or indicate that you have a medical or religious exemption). Please complete the attestation form online.
Insurance
As a reminder, you are responsible for confirming that your insurance will continue to cover telehealth. (All Medicaid plans have confirmed continued coverage, as have Kaiser plans, except for Kaiser self-funded plans). We understand that many insurance companies have been providing conflicting and incorrect information, but there is little we are able to do other than encourage you to continue to seek clarity from your insurance.
Please remember that your insurance coverage is an agreement between you and your insurance carrier, not with Portland Mental Health & Wellness, so you must determine if your insurance plan will cover telehealth services now that the Emergency Order has been lifted.
