About Me

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with more than six years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, chronic pain, grief, and life transitions. I was drawn to this profession because I’m endlessly fascinated by human resilience and the remarkable capacity people have to grow—even after experiencing profound hardship. I believe therapy works best when it combines genuine human connection with practical, evidencebased strategies, creating a space where clients feel understood, challenged, and hopeful.

Therapeutic Approach

My style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique goals. While I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions, I believe no single approach fits every person. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, build practical skills for lasting change, and work toward a life that’s guided more by your values than your circumstances. I strive to balance meaningful conversations with moments of humor whenever it helps lighten the journey.

Credentials & Experience

I hold a master’s degree in Psychology and have worked in outpatient, community mental health, residential treatment, and integrated healthcare settings. My clinical experience includes treating PTSD and complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and severe and persistent mental illness.

Outside the Office

When I’m not meeting with clients, you’ll usually find me exploring Oregon with my wife and young daughter, hiking, photographing landscapes, discovering local history, listening to music, or enthusiastically tracking weather systems. Curiosity has always been one of my favorite qualities— and it’s something I hope to bring into every therapeutic conversation.

I am supervised by Shayna Crespo, LPC, CADC II
