Thank you for visiting!
It is my distinct privilege to join the Portland Mental Health & Wellness team as the Chief Operating Officer in 2023! Previously, I was the Director of Operations at a behavioral health group in Chicago, Practice Administrator at UroPartners – the largest, independent urology group in the Midwest, and Practice Manager and Marketing Director at The Running Institute – Chicago’s premier sports medicine practice.
I am a Board Certified Medical Practice Executive through the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and serve on the Advisory Board for the University of Illinois’ Master of Health Administration (MHA) program. Further, I served as the Legislative Liaison and Committee Chair for the Illinois MGMA, advocating for positive change in healthcare legislation at the state and national levels, leveraging relationships and partnerships that I built with the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) and National MGMA Government Affairs teams. I was honored to be recognized as the MGMA Legislative Liaison of the Year in 2021 for those efforts.
For over 13 years, I have committed to creating a meaningful impact within the field of healthcare administration, passionate about fostering a positive team culture and ensuring superb patient & client care. How? I am a firm believer in assuming good intent when I have the privilege to connect with people through my curiosity, hearing and seeing them as fellow humans that are striving to be the best versions of themselves.
My family – husband, mother, and two bichon frise pups – are excited to be new PNW residents and look forward to experiencing the beautiful variety it has to offer!
Tidbits: Born and raised in New Jersey, I was a professionally trained classical musician, playing the clarinet and performing at Carnegie Hall six times as a child. And, surprising myself by testing my own limits, I am a retired, four-time IRONMAN triathlete
