Psychotherapy with Adults
I am extern at Portland Mental Health & Wellness working under the supervision of Molly Young and Amy Harris, PsyD. I received a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at George Fox University and am currently completing my doctorate in clinical psychology at George Fox University.
I practice psychodynamic analysis as it goes beneath the surface to make contact with our suppressed selves. Through giving attention and nurturing all self-states, we bring the subconscious into awareness and integrate them into acceptance. This brings lasting healing. I also appreciate the person-centered approach as each client has a wealth of insight and solutions to their lives with the therapist’s facilitation and support. I work with individuals and in group therapy. Prior to psychology, I had years of experience in business and technology and can hopefully relate to diverse backgrounds. I value insight, warmth, humor, and playfulness in my intervention. I look forward to working with you.
