I am a licensed psychologist, with my doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacific University. I completed a doctoral internship at Colorado State University in 2013 and went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship there in 2014, specializing in behavioral health and intensive outpatient treatment.
In my current work, I practice Gestalt therapy. Gestalt therapy is focused on developing awareness and acceptance of what is actually happening in the moment. When awareness and acceptance grows, it frees us to become grounded and alive in new ways. As an engaged therapist, I will listen fully, help you to understand and experience yourself as a whole person, challenge you to try out new approaches, and support you in moving forward. I can help with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and recovery from trauma. I also specialize in working with concerns related to gender identity and transition.
