About Me

I’m Bunny, a full-time MSW student at Portland State University in my first year of general practicum here at PMHW. I hold a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in child, family and youth studies from PSU. I plan to use my Master of Social Work degree to become a licensed therapist that specializes in trauma. As someone who suffers from PTSD myself, I am passionate about extending care and helping others heal on their journey. In a world where we are persuaded to ignore the wars going on inside our minds, I believe that mental health care is imperative to everyone’s health.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is rooted in CBT and Somatic Experiencing. Other techniques that influence my work are DBT and EMDR. My goal is to provide a gentle and safe space for clients in which they can be vulnerable, seen, heard and affirmed. I hope to provide not only cognitive relief but lasting steps that promote on-going healing and personal growth.

I am currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work from Portland State University. I received my bachelor’s in psychology (cum laude) with a minor in child, family and youth studies from PSU in 2025. I have two years of volunteering at HOLLA school and 4 years of volunteering for Unite Here.

Outside the Office

On my off days, I absolutely love participating in performing arts! You can catch me on the mic at any karaoke event or dancing if there is music playing. I also love being active with yoga and chasing my cats around the house for fun. Community wise, I participate in an all Black mutual aid social group where we uplift each other and provide for one another when necessary.
