Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Pronouns: She, Her
I’m Ashley, a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) candidate, with a deep passion for mental health, creativity, and intentional experiences. With over 10 years of experience in nursing, I have worked in anesthesia, perioperative services, ICU, pain management, and nurse education, which has shaped my holistic approach to well-being.
Beyond healthcare, I am also a luxury event planner and florist, finding joy in curating stunning floral arrangements and creating meaningful, immersive experiences. Whether in mental health or event design, I believe in bringing beauty, balance, and intentionality to everything I do.
My journey into mental health was inspired by my experiences working with patients dealing with chronic pain, emotional distress, and trauma, which highlighted the deep mind-body connection. I specialize in working with women navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma, offering evidence-based care that fosters healing, self-discovery, and resilience.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is holistic, client-centered, and deeply interpersonal. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and interpersonal therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can process their emotions, gain clarity, and develop effective coping strategies for long-term healing.
